The prep came up move for move and I still lost Die Prep ist Zug für Zug gekommen und ich hab trotzdem verloren

Game three: I lost. The line from my prep appeared on the board move for move, which has not happened to me before, and then I got the move order wrong myself and handed the position back.

After the slip I gave a knight for activity. I thought I would get an insane bishop that picks up a couple of pawns on the way, because his structure is weak and exploitable. Then my queen went shopping on b2 and c2 and she never came home, and that is the move that lost the game. I played it out to mate. I always do.

Zesewitz is the nicest opponent I have had here. I bought him a beer afterwards and we sat down and went through the whole game together, and it turned out he had prepared off my 1.a4 game from last year, the joke one. He called my prep impressive. The whole family was lovely.

Still one point after three rounds.

Partie drei: verloren. Die Linie aus meiner Prep ist Zug für Zug aufs Brett gekommen, so ist mir das noch nie passiert, und dann hab ich selber die Zugfolge verhaut und die Stellung wieder hergegeben.

Nach dem Patzer hab ich einen Springer für Aktivität gegeben. Ich hab gedacht, ich krieg einen wahnsinnigen Läufer, der unterwegs auch noch ein paar Bauern mitnimmt, weil seine Struktur schwach und ausnutzbar ist. Dann ist meine Dame auf b2 und c2 einkaufen gegangen und nicht mehr heimgekommen, und das ist der Zug, der die Partie verloren hat. Ich hab bis zum Matt gespielt. Mach ich immer.

Zesewitz ist der netteste Gegner, den ich hier bisher hatte. Ich hab ihm nachher ein Bier ausgegeben und wir haben uns hingesetzt und die ganze Partie zusammen durchgeschaut, und es hat sich herausgestellt, dass er sich mit meiner 1.a4-Partie von letztem Jahr vorbereitet hat, der Spaßpartie. Er hat meine Prep beeindruckend gefunden. Die ganze Familie war einfach lieb.

Nach drei Runden immer noch ein Punkt.
